Personal Bio: Jewel graduated from Fortis College in November 2013 as a Dental Assistant. She also worked in the front office for a couple of years. Jewel was inspired to become an Office Manager of a dental practice because she knew how to work both roles, front office and back office. She has two children, whom she adores, and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family.
Personal Favorites: One of Jewel’s personal favorites is spending her weekends at the beach with her family and friends while enjoying the sunset.
Personal Quote: “You’re not rich until you have something money can’t buy.”
Patient Impact: Back in her college days, she was doing an internship, and while assisting a Dental Hygienist, they both noticed a lump on the roof of a patient’s mouth. Their patient explained that the bump has been there for a while. They advised the patient to get a biopsy and it turned out it was cancer!
